We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Sales & Business Development Manager for DOMISPHERE, motivated by ambitious goals and creating results within the indoor air purification market for a spin-off venture with an exciting potential.

This is an opportunity for you to become part of an exciting venture, where initial focus for the company will be on driving, devising and executing innovative business and sales development in parallel with the processes of making the product market ready involving product development and industrial design, prototyping and testing.

Based in Copenhagen, DOMISPHERE is located at an inspiring entrepreneurial environment and premises on the Campus of the University of Copenhagen, located at the heart of Copenhagen Science City.

The Sales & Business Development Manager

The Sales & Business Development Manager position will be a key player in the realization of DOMISPHERE’s plans – both with regards to product development as well as market launch and the realization of commercial plans.

You will be dedicated to the development of international business and sales opportunities, including early commercialization (B2C and B2B), search for (strategic) partners, and other business development and sales focused activities.

At the same time with this, the first 6-12 months’ focus will partly be dedicated towards some involvement in the R&D plans and product readiness processes, in parallel with a gradual increasing and overriding primary focus on business development and commercial activities.

The R&D and product development processes will be run in close cooperation with INFUSER’s science based technical team, and relevant external expertise, but with overall responsibility for the R&D plans with DOMISPHERE.

The Sales & Business Development Manager will be a central part of a small start-up team that will grow as the project evolves.

You will report to the CEO of DOMISPHERE. Some international travel activity must be expected (ca. 40-50 days per year) the intensity of which is expected to increase also in sync with the development of the company and its business.

Your professional background and skills

  • You have a commercial background with a proven track record of product and/or solutions sales, with an international scope
  • Business development experience, including project and (new) product management, business and go-to-market strategies, key account management, client and contract negotiations
  • Experience from B2C and/or B2B markets, could be from the white and/or brown goods segment – and experience from or insight into the facility management and/or cleaning industry is a major plus (potential client segment) 
  • Technical insight or natural technical flair an advantage
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (Danish is not a requirement but an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to represent DOMISPHERE at all organizational levels, including on the international stage
  • Strong sales and business development profile and a dedicated mindset – willing to walk the extra mile

  • You are a business professional and with a commercial mindset. You know what the client wants, his needs and desires – and you can make ends meet for the benefit of both him and DOMISPHERE.
  • You are in possession of leadership and motivational skills both with regards to line management and in a matrix environment
  • You are curious, dedicated and enthusiastic with a natural enthusiasm in everything you do. You are eager to learn, and you are strongly involved in your work tasks and the people around you.
  • You are dynamic and flexible. For you there is little alternative to action, just as you are able to adapt your actions and tools used in your work.
  • You are solution oriented, have a can-do-attitude and are creative in finding solutions and reaching goals
  • You are robust and thrives in informal and busy environment. A busy and demanding schedule is mostly an inspiration to you. And you are not afraid of asking for help or support from your colleagues
  • You know how to make a realistic plan – and you possess sufficient self-discipline to carry it through, also when it becomes hard.
  • Although taking advice or guidance from colleagues or superiors are not unknown traits to you, you are driven by a positive self-motivation – and know the situational balance between working independently and being open to working and sharing responsibilities.

DOMISPHERE

With a presence in Denmark (HQ), Sweden and Germany, INFUSER (www.infuser.eu) develop, incubate and market innovative and green solutions for industrial air pollution control and surface disinfection applications – and now also for the improvement of indoor air quality.

Millions of people around the world die every year from the combined effects of ambient (outdoor) and household air pollution. In a response to this challenge, INFUSER has, in cooperation with an international equity fund, founded a spin-off – DOMISPHERE. DOMISPHERE is focused on products and solutions aimed at the international market for the improvement of indoor air quality.

The new technology will form the basis for the company’s development plans over the coming 12-18 months. The goal will be to develop and bring to market new product propositions for the indoor air purification market, where both residential and non-residential (e.g. office) buildings represent potential segments. In parallel, DOMISPHERE will be exploring new ways or partnerships to apply its technology, just as different business models will need to be developed in order to realize the company’s goals of reaching all segments in the market (B2B and B2B).

In close collaboration with the management of the company, and initially with INFUSER’s technical team, the Sales & Business Development Manager will become a key player in this exciting journey of new business spin-off, where tasks and responsibilities will develop in line with the company’s successful progress.
