Digital Marketing Specialist (Full or Part Time)

We have a new opportunity to join our Marketing team on a temporary basis as a Digital Marketing Specialist (full or part time). The primary focus is on SEO and PPC, but we are seeking candidates with strong all round Digital Marketing experience.

You will be accountable for proactively driving the marketing activity through digital channels and working collaboratively across all elements of the Thomas business. You will be asked to deliver skilled and effective digital marketing expertise to the business, in order to generate leads and increase brand awareness and interaction.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

- Maximising performance of the website by increasing website traffic, lead generation and lead conversion rates through SEO, AB/multi variant testing, content and analytics

- Monitoring and reporting regularly on website performance through google analytics

- Ensuring all digital communications are optimised to achieve engagement, and maximising sales and profit as informed by analysis of online customer behaviour

- Creating clear and concise briefs and liaise effectively with agencies, as required

- Supporting the International Marketing Manager and the wider team as required

The Job Profile suggests that the person occupying this position should have drive to achieve results in a friendly manner but at the same time maintain quality and standards. The incumbent should have the ability to absorb and impart factual information to others and work within standard operating procedures. Ideally the person fulfilling the role will have specialist/technical skills and will work within an area of knowledge and expertise. Communication, the need to enjoy challenging situations and a systematic and perfectionist approach to problems are integral to the function. The ideal person for this position will be positive, participative, self-confident, friendly, self-starting, competitive, inquisitive, imaginative, factual, consistent and somewhat conventional and self-disciplined. Activity, mobility, flexibility, variety and pace are also likely to be important aspects within the function. The incumbent may prove to be a cautious decision maker due to the need for perfection and getting things right.
