Due to ongoing growth we are seeking an experienced Marketing Director, who will be based from our Marlow office.

The Marketing Director will be part of the Senior Management team and will be responsible for planning, creating, implementing and driving Thomas International’s International and UK marketing strategies. They will also be required to plan, drive and manage all marketing activities globally and ensure direction is provided to all distributors on marketing, communications and public relations.

The Marketing Director will work closely with the senior management team and provide clear strategic direction based on market insight, competitor activity and brand potential, in order to achieve market leadership status.

The Marketing Director will also be responsible for Thomas International’s brand. This will include leading projects such as cause – related marketing and special events, as well as driving brand plans and growth.

Other key responsibilities include:

Communications – the Marketing Director will lead the communications strategy across all channels and will take responsibility for the achievement of marketing, communications, public relations, mission goals and financial objectives. They will also coordinate media interest in Thomas International and act as a key representative with the media.

Management and Development – the Marketing Director will have full responsibility for the performance of the brand as well as the Marketing team, and will be required to provide leadership and direction to the team. They will also develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures which are necessary to the smooth operation of the Marketing department.

Budgets and Reporting – the Marketing Director will work closely with Finance to produce market and product forecasts as well as driving, delivering and reporting on business performance in accordance with the marketing plan. They will also be required to monitor performance and ROI for all marketing programmes.
