Thomas International have a brilliant new opportunity to join our Psychology team as a Consultant Analyst! Working within the wider product group, the Consultant Analyst will draw upon their consultancy skills and statistical capabilities to develop data-led solutions for our clients, inform new product development and support popular and academic research initiatives.

The Consultant Analyst will be based in our vibrant London office, situated in the West End on Haymarket. The role will involve regular travel across the UK and frequent collaboration with our international partner network.

The Psychology team at Thomas are a highly collaborative and dynamic team, with mixed backgrounds in psychology, research and business. We can’t wait to meet our newest colleague!

Key responsibilities include: 

·         Act as a technical business partner to commercial teams in the UK and international partner network, liaising directly with clients to understanding how Thomas can best support their needs. This will involve regular UK travel and frequent web conferences with our teams abroad.

·         Follow the consultancy cycle to identify the most appropriate solutions for our clients and articulate these both verbally and in writing in the form of business pitches and proposals. The ability to present articulately and with confidence is critical.

·         Take a leading role in the design, delivery and evaluation of data-led talent benchmarking and conduct regular statistical activities involving the Thomas psychometric portfolio and support client-facing data analytics requirements.

·         Partner with the Lead Statistician & Senior Psychologist to support the expansion of our in-house statistical capabilities, introducing/increasing the application of methods including (but not limited to): Structural Equation Modelling, Item-Response methodologies, Differential Item Functioning.

·         Operate using the ‘R’ statistical package as your primary medium whilst identifying software that can further advance our capabilities

·         Frequently partner with our Marketing team to author engaging internal case studies and outbound campaign content, including authoring of topical whitepapers, opinion-piece blog posts or writing-up client case studies.

·         When appropriate, author academic papers based on talent benchmarks and applied research findings, seeking opportunities to present your work at relevant industry events and conferences.
