Essential Skills:
  • Masterful use of recruitment partners including LinkedIn
  • Sourcing and identifying high-quality talent through a blend of recruitment methods
  • Arranging and leading interviews and assessment days where appropriate
  • Excellent understanding of and adhering to budgeting
  • Influencing and negotiation with recruitment suppliers, candidates and associates
  • Reporting statistically weekly and monthly to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Ensuring key internal stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
The following would also be an asset:
  • Experience of various psycometric tools, including Thomas
  • A strong understanding of the assessment or talent management market place

We are looking for a self-starting, creative Talent Acquisition Consultant who is dedicated to sourcing and acquiring the talent that will underpin our ambitious growth and digitalisation objectives. You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle at Thomas International, from candidate attraction to offer and acceptance with the successful applicant. You will act as a vital brand ambassador for Thomas International and strengthen external awareness of Thomas as we transform and grow.

You will have a proven track record of sourcing a large volume of high-quality Technology and Sales talent whilst working to tight deadlines. You will be plugged into the Tech and Sales scenes by regularly attending events to help increase your candidate pipeline, and you will encourage our Developers and Salespersons to do the same to improve our brand awareness. You will be an expert in sourcing and retaining talent, specifically for Sales and Tech Teams, either within an in-house start-up or embryonic company, or within a recruitment agency. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have demonstrable excellent research and sourcing skills using a variety of methods to target diverse talent pools. You will bring with you your own network of talent and preferred recruitment agencies, which can be utilised and developed at Thomas International.

You will be passionate about your role and witnessing your achievements through your recruitment successes. You see a challenge as an opportunity. You are as happy talking to the CEO as you are negotiating with suppliers. Your relationship-building acumen will be second-to-none and you can build long-term, working relationships with anyone you meet. You relish thinking “outside of the box” with recruitment strategies, but you have enough attention to detail to hammer out contracts and safeguard and develop first-class recruitment practice.
