The role of Product Manager is a significant one in Thomas, with the assigned individual taking holistic ownership of appropriate Thomas tools with a view to develop and innovate to ensure continued customer delight. In this role you will become the company expert in that product(s), enabling identification, management and execution of solutions to meet business needs. This is an interactive role, in which you will be working with other teams in the wider product group, as well as other company functions, to ensure all stakeholder needs are understood, managed and incorporated into the overall workplan at the earliest opportunity.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of each product(s) ensuring the product roadmap is aligned with management and executed according to business guidance.
- Measure and review appropriate product measures (e.g. sales, revenues, usage) translating learnings into actionable objectives with the Head of Research & Development to deliver ROI.
- Familiarity with the product(s) suite and being able to articulate those requirements both inwardly to the Scrum team and outwardly to the customer is an integral part of the role
- Be a product ambassador and expert for the rest of the business, including sales, clients and marketing.
- Where appropriate execute training sessions to communicate new features for all relevant users including customers, partners and internal employees globally
