The Partner Development Manager is a strategic role within our Integrations team, with responsibility for working with Thomas’ current and prospective platform partners to strengthen partner relationships, as well as to nurture new sales opportunities and co-marketing activity for the Thomas tools and brand. 

The role will require the successful candidate to develop and manage a focused set of highly strategic global technology alliances. These complex alliances are formed with a small number of external, high-profile partners, with the objective of maximizing market impact and revenue generation. 

The role will be responsible for developing, negotiating and closing key agreements with major external partners and working with cross-functional peers, to determine and execute against Thomas’ overall strategy. Furthermore, there is responsibility for developing and managing partners throughout the partner lifecycle, from business planning to go-to-market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with development of partner strategies, strategic account plans and key executive relationships
  • Develop and manage a growing partner portfolio to deliver fully integrated solutions to clients and generate additional revenue streams
  • Help partners leverage Thomas’ technology to enhance their offerings, integrate with them to fill gaps in and extend our product portfolio, and work with them in the field to help to develop these partnerships with customers, channel partners and sales
  • Develop and rollout new opportunities for partners. Represent the voice of the partner to Product and Development teams
  • First point of contact for partners around all key areas. Support integration of new products with existing partners and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of daily business issues
  • Identify and further develop opportunities within the ATS, HRM and recruitment platform markets

As the ideal candidate, you will have excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to explain software to non-technical users. You will have demonstrable success using these skills to manage and build strong working relationships with cross functional teams, both internally and externally. You will have confidence and experience in strategy development, partner management or business development in the technology industry, with further experience in platform, infrastructure-as-a-service market with cloud-based technologies. A keen interest in all relevant technology advancements and trends in the integration and technology solution market will also be critical for this role.
