We are very excited to be growing our Thomas Sport business and are seeking a Sales Consultant to join this new team.  Thomas Sport was launched in 2014 to introduce the world leading psychometric assessments of Thomas International into sport to help teams, coaches and athletes become more self-aware, understand their emotional intelligence, have greater focus and ultimately be more successful.  Your responsibilities will include generating, developing and managing a growing portfolio of Sport clients, and attending regular networking events to generate leads.

Suitable applicants will have a background in sales and a passion for sport or have come from a professional sporting background.  You will be comfortable working to sales targets to assist the Thomas Sport MD in the growth and overall strategy for the Sport business.  

With a good basic salary plus commission and bonuses, you can easily earn £60-70,000.  However during your first year as you build your client base, earnings are likely to be in the region of £30-40,000.  Thereafter, earnings are unlimited.

The incumbent should be friendly and have the drive to achieve results through a logical and systematic approach. The job environment requires actively influencing and motivating a variety of people in changing situations. The person fulfilling the role should have strong influencing skills as selling a product or a concept must be accomplished by gaining willing acceptance. The job could include specialist/technical skills and the incumbent should enjoy challenging situations and have the ability to work within the broad parameters of the organisation. The ideal person for this position will be positive, participative, self-confident, friendly, self-starting, competitive, inquisitive, imaginative, factual, consistent and somewhat conventional and self- disciplined. Activity, mobility, flexibility, variety and pace are also likely to be important aspects within the function.
