Thomas Education, established in 2012 to introduce the world-leading psychometric assessments of Thomas International to schools and education centres to help young people become more self-aware and have greater focus, seeks a Sales Manager to develop the business strategically.

 

Thomas International has been established for 33 years and profiles over 1.5 million people each year. The focus of Thomas Education is to help young people in education, and those who are struggling to find work, to achieve greater self-awareness and to better understand their strengths in relation to the world of work.

 

We are seeking a Sales Manager to work closely with the Thomas Education MD, and to take a strategic view of this exciting new business. This is an opportunity for a sales person, passionate about helping young people, who wants to make a real difference, and who strives towards potential long term equity in this exciting business. This role will suit someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who understands the Education sector and can drive opportunities and relationships forward. An ideal background will be in sales and/or education.

 

Responsible for generating, developing and managing a growing portfolio of education clients, the Education Sales Manager will manage, motivate and control the activities of the sales consultants in order to achieve company objectives and sales targets.

 

You will work with both the Education team and internal resources to ensure marketing material and messaging is up to date and relevant. You will attend networking events making key contacts across the education sector. You will share your knowledge ensuring that team members have a concise understanding of the market place, and support the team with product training and solutions to meet client needs and add value to client organisations.

 

We are looking for the ideal candidate to demonstrate strong interpersonal and influencing skills. You will be a multi-tasker with people management experience and excellent time management skills.
