Due to the expansion of our London based Sales Team we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Consultant based from our flagship office in Haymarket.
This dynamic team has recently moved to our new luxury offices to develop the Thomas client base and grow client usage of the Thomas product portfolio.
The main role of a Business Development Consultant will be the ability to hunt for new business prospects and create territory plans that identify appropriate new business opportunities within a defined geographical area.
As an ideal candidate you will need to be a self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously. You will have the ability to network effectively in your territory as well as within specific organisations to unearth further opportunities.
You will need to be confident in cold calling and thrive on making appointments and bringing in new business. An important part of the role will be to build up a relationship with the Client Development Consultant in order to provide client follow up and with the support of the client long term. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will also be essential to the role
Existing knowledge of the HR function will be beneficial as your key contacts are likely to work within this sector. Experience of CRM systems such as SalesForce will also be advantageous.
Previous experience in the field of psychometric tools and assessments is not essential but would be viewed favourably.
Ideally you have some business to business solution-led sales experience. Alternatively you may have experienced success in internal sales and wish to move into field work. If you are currently in HR and a user of our products, we would also like to hear from you.
