Senior Operations Manager with Offshore Experience
On behalf of an internationally oriented company, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to take responsibility for a key part of the organisation's operations.
The company operates within the offshore industry, providing technical services and maintenance in an environment where safety, collaboration, and quality are of the highest importance.
You will become part of an organisation with several hundred employees across multiple locations, both onshore and offshore, and will be responsible for leading managers as well as technical specialists across the organisation.
As Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring stable and efficient operations while further developing collaboration with the company's international business partners.
You will act as a key sparring partner for both internal and external stakeholders and play an important role in translating strategic objectives into measurable results. One of your primary responsibilities will be to strengthen the organisation's processes, collaboration, and leadership foundation.
The position requires the ability to maintain an overview in a complex organisation where many activities take place simultaneously and where people from different professional backgrounds work towards common goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the daily operation of large-scale technical service and maintenance activities.
- Ensure high levels of quality, efficiency, and safety across all operational processes.
- Lead and develop a team of managers and key employees.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor budgets, KPIs, and financial performance.
- Participate actively in the development of strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive progress on cross-functional projects and organisational initiatives.
- Support a culture characterised by collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
- Contribute to contractual negotiations and the development of existing business partnerships.
- Ensure a strong focus on health, safety, employee well-being, and workplace compliance.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in a similar leadership position.
- Experience managing technical operational environments and navigating organisations with multiple stakeholders and diverse professional groups.
- Proven ability to create engagement and commitment through clear communication, visible leadership, and a structured approach.
- Solid experience from the offshore energy sector.
- Documented experience with operations, maintenance, or large-scale technical projects.
- Experience leading both employees and managers.
- Strong commercial understanding and financial acumen.
- Experience working with KPIs, budgeting, and performance management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple organisational levels.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build trust.
- IT: Proficient user of Microsoft Office and preferably familiar with AI tools and technologies.
- Education: Relevant technical or commercial degree, preferably supplemented by further education.
- Languages: Professional communication skills in both Danish and English, verbally and in writing.
- Residence within reasonable commuting distance of Esbjerg.
