Thomas International is the largest privately-owned global assessment provider, at the forefront of assessment innovation. We are seeking a special individual with the skills and experience for this new and exciting role, driving European sales within our expanding business. Responsible for providing vision and leadership for developing and implementing a sales growth strategy across the Thomas European country managers, this role will provide a major contribution to sales of the Thomas products.

Reporting to the International Managing Director and based in the UK, this role is responsible for developing and driving a European sales strategy and delivering against agreed targets and revenue across all Thomas products. Building commercial relationships particularly across European partners, you will establish performance goals, increasing the number of key accounts across each territory, particularly within mainland Europe. You will create and implement regional country manager programmes and network events to share best practice.

This exciting opportunity will also require an understanding of market specific business plans focusing on sales growth and market penetration. To do this successfully, you will be regularly analysing market trends and customer needs in each key country, keeping products, pricing and service in line with changing market conditions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multi-country sales teams and budgets, and possess a proven track record within international sales growth. You will have a solid background delivering proposals and negotiating deals with senior management as well as evidence of success in building and maintaining multi-country internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Exceptional cross-cultural interpersonal skills as well as the ability to negotiate and influence are essential. You will also need to demonstrate strategic thinking and leadership skills and be willing to undertake European travel on a regular basis (approximately 50% of your time).
