We are a well-established IT department with a highly sophisticated Web based application providing more than 1 million people assessments every year. The system allows candidates to undertake a variety of assessments within a web browser, and has a series of powerful administrative functions for analysing and reporting on the information provided.

As well as maintaining the current system we are engaged in an ambitious ongoing project to redevelop our entire infrastructure using modern .NET based technologies.

There will also be potential to work on smaller specialist projects such as our API, partnership program, product development and mobile platforms where we would actively encourage you to use the skills that you have acquired previously and to research and employ new technologies where appropriate.

Core (Required) Skills

• Proven Microsoft.NET web stack development experience

• Proven commercial knowledge and experience of ASP.NET, C#, and HTML/Javascript.

• Strong experience with SQL Server, ORM Frameworks and Database Design.

• Experienced in reviewing and acting on Technical proposals.

• Able to multi-task while consistently maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.

• Team development - coaching, mentoring, leadership

• Innovative problem solver who can identify issues and deliver solutions quickly.

• A passion for technology

Advantageous Skillsets

• MCTS or equivalent accreditation

• Experience of Agile development practices

• TFS

• IIS / Web farm
